For rear drive cars, then go for the B310 manual. The Australian Sunny Wagon used the A14 engine, so if you get a manual that covers the Wagon model, then you have it stitched up.
I have the factory manual & it is very comprehensive, but i suspect that the Gregories one will suit your purposes nicely, just as long as it covers the Wagon model.

Registered Users | really,if your just going to rebuild the engine,the book to try & find is the nissan a10/a12 engine assembly book,plus any book giving you the sizes of the a14,which you could get from that n10 manual.the nissan assembly book comes in that awful green colour of early nissan manuals,& takes you through assembling the engine,which applies to all the a series engines.with these two books,you should be able to put the engine together.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence. | | Transfer |

Registered Users | ahh, the A10/12 engine suppliement was on there too, might grab both. Tho the Sunny manual does list having the wagon, just not the A14.
Torque settings & bearing crush etc wouldn't change for the extra stroke, would they? one would assume the ring gap would be the same too between A14 & A15 as the ACL catalouge says they use the same rings/bearings/gaskets/etc.
Hell except for the measurements the rest of the details are probably the same on all the A1x varients anyway.

Registered Users | yes,just use the torque settings for the a15,
as they'll be close between the a14 & a15.the a14 specs are also mentioned in the gregory's
120y manual.
go & grab that supplement,it's the ducks guts when assembling an a series.a friend whose assembled at least 4 engines for me keeps it close at hand,just in case.(you'd think he'd remember by now).

Registered Users | Real MEN don't need workshop manuals or engine assembly books.
However, the better quality engine builders keep all their reference material where they can lay their hands on them whenever they need to make absolutely sure of anything that they need to know.
The better the library, the more i trust the tradesman.
